FIshing Report, Basshole Bait and Tackle Shop By David Dulon Last week Ben,(Fish 'in Comfort- 530-238-9789, Cell# 530-949-4303)worked the water around Hirtz Bay on the McCloud Arm. They hooked into two Browns up to 4# and four nice Rainbow Trout to 2.5#. They were fishing from 5 feet to 20 feet using shad imitation lures. All the fish were caught at 5 feet beneath the surface! I also talked to Jeff Michaels after the recent Bass Deby and he picked up some money by concentrating on the Upper Sacramento Arm. Right now it's raining and chilly which should improve the bite. I'm going to start fishing weekly now that the bite has picked up! See you out there.
