Lake Conditions.
Lake Camanche's current elevation is 174.04 as of 07/12/15. Water temperature at the launch ramp is approximately 79 degrees. Inflow from Lake Pardee is temporarily at 11 c.s.f. and the outflow from Lake Camanche is currently 270 c.s.f. The flow into Camanche varies from 11 cfs to 800 cfs. as EBMUD generates electricity from Pardee's flow. At this time they turn on two of the three generating units periodically during the week. Each unit can deliver 400 cfs, thus the 11-800 cfs range.

Regular Camanche angler Robbie Dunham of Galt caught 7 trout and 3 kokanee with Dian Stockton using speedy shiners at 3.0 GPS on Staurday July 11th.

Darrell Goins of Stockton called to say he probably caught a record catfish out of the trout pond last Tuesday 7/7. He was up at Camanche fishing with his family when he reeled in this monster! Unfortunately it was after hours so this beast didn't get weighed and makes it inelgible for the Monster Fish contest or the record. At least he will receive a consolation gift for sharing his pictures.

We measured the dock sections from this picture and estimate the lenght of Darrell's cat to be 37"-38" inches long.

Back on 6/26/15 that Kevin Miranda caught the new lake record with this monster largemouth weighing in at 18.17 lbs. Kevin was using crank bait river2sea V joints S-110 deep drive. Kevin has the record for the lake so far and has been put on the top of the Monste Fish leader board for a chance to win a 2016 Annual Pass.
