One angler reported going for bass up the narrows this pass week and brought up two, 2 lb size bass along with a 4 lb trout off swim bait. All were released back into the lake.

Still waiting for the lake to cool a bit more before we get our fish plants.

Lake Camanche is still holding at 32% full with fluctuating releases from Pardee Lake.

Weekly Weather
Forecasting 70 & sunny today and warming up into the upper 70s for the rest of the week. Overnight temps in the mid to upper 40s. Great weather to cool off the lake so we can start the Mt. Lassen Trout plants.

Lake Conditions
Lake Camanche's current elevation is 186.53 as of 11/04/14. Water temperature at the launch ramp is approximately 67 degrees and the lake is 32% full. The inflow from Lake Pardee is currently 533 c.s.f. and the outflow from Lake Camanche is currently 230 c.s.f. The flows into Camanche currently vary from 11 cfs to 800 cfs. This is because when they are generating electricity from Pardee the flow is increased from the baseline 11 cfs at this time they are turning on two of the three generating units periodically during the week. Each unit can deliver 400 cfs, thus the 11-800 cfs range.
