Spotted Bass and White Bass continue to go strong! Spotted Bass are being caught near rocky shorelines, plastic worms, Rooster Tails, and Rat L Traps are working best. White Bass are congregating and boiling in Las Tablas Cove, use top water lures like Poppers, or smaller spoons like Rooster Tails. Smallmouth and Largemouth bass are being caught at the mouth of coves. Largemouth in the shallows. Smallmouth in slightly depper water. Plastics, Crankbaits, and spinner baits work best for these.

Spotted Bass and White Base are still going strong. White Bass has become one of the most caught fish, with boils happening periodically in the middle of large coves like Las Tablas. When fishing for Whites or Spots, use top water lures, to medium depth lures. Top water Poppers, Rooster Tails and spoons produce best results. This week spotted Bass bites are still prevalent both off shore and on shore. Top water lures and smaller spoons and spinners seem to be doing very well. White Bass have also been reported and it seems White Bass season has arrived! White Bass season typically begins in mid-March and goes strong until late April.
