Lots of anglers working the banks all around the Recreation Area this morning. Most have gravitated towards the old tried and true spots namely Rainbow Point the Mud Hole, the Launch Ramp, Blue Herron Point and Porcupine Point. The catch was great just after the plant and earlier this morning. White Power Bait, Chartreuse with sparkles, eggs with garlic, orange mouse tails along with night crawlers on a sliding sinker or a half full water bubble all continue to be effective combos thus far..

Lots of boaters working the Sugar Bowl and the Narrows, word is the trolling has been good there recently, even before the plant. Noticed a few boats working the face of the Dam the Rock Wall and the South end again this morning, the remainder have headed upstream. Columbia Gulch, Twin Coves and beyond continue to be the destinations. Three to five colors of lead core, trolling with beaded spinners, Uncle Larry's pinkies and white/pink hoochies all behind a medium dodger are a good bet; German Browns still around out there, try broken back Rapalas, and gold or rainbow minnow. Red needle fish have been working very well in the Narrows and Sugar Bowl for trout during the week and this morning.

Current success stories: Pete Massoni of Valley Springs (no picture) got a nice Blue gill 1.78lbs and 12 inches long off Blue Herron Point using a night crawler. They are lots of them in the Lake but they are seldom caught. Nice job Peter, Congratulation-well done!!!

Presently Lake Level is 18-20 feet below capacity and has been fluctuating up or down depending upon rain fall and releases. The current water temperature has warmed since last report and is currently, 52 degrees at 20 feet and 56 at the surface; water clarity is good to 16 ft.

Lake Pardee Recreation has planted again this week for a total of 14,000 pounds of fish to date.
