WEEKLY WEATHER
North Shore & South Shore
Things are really heating up out here at the lake. Temperatures are expected to stay up in the triple digits for most of the week, reaching 110'F by Thursday! We should feel some relief by Saturday however as temperatures drop just below 100'F.

LAKE NEWS
This weekend we are hosting a Red, White & Blue Contest in the South Shore R.V. parks. Anyone camping in Monument or Miner's Camp R.V. Park this weekend is encouraged to decorate their R.V. with 4th of July spirit. A silent judging will take place to determine the winner on Saturday July 6, 2013.

FREE Friday & Saturday Night Movies!
In order to celebrate the 4th of July, we will be showing a movie on both Friday and Saturday Night this week! Come out to the lake during the day and then come enjoy a family movie at night!

This Friday we will showing The Amazing Spider Man! On Saturday night we will be showing R.V. Starring Robin Williams. Movies are shown at the amphitheater just across from the Gold Run campground, start at sundown, and are free to our Overnight and Day Use guests.

Eagle Beach Campground at North shore is available for rent!
The Eagle Beach Campground at North shore is the only place in the park that is accessible by boat only and is located on the East side of the Peninsula in the Rabbit Creek arm. Both 8 and 16 persons sites are available.

FISHING REPORT
Did you know that you can win a free 2014 Annual Day Use Pass! All you have to do is catch the largest fish by weight for the 2013 calendar year. Bring your fish to either marina store for a picture, and weigh-in to be eligible. One pass per fish type (Bass, Trout, Catfish, Crappie). See store or gate for more details. The hot summer temperatures have trout down 35+ feet deep with baits of choice being power baits and night crawlers.

Most of the anglers who are bringing in fish are fishing out in the deeper waters. We are still getting catfish reports and word on the lake is that they are hanging out in rocky areas, mostly in the evenings.
