Our SFR sponsored trip capitalized on Fall royalties aboard the Pacific Queen out of Fisherman's Landing in San Diego. We had classic Fall style tuna fishing with explosive patties holding an abundant mix of Yellowfin, Yellowtail, Dorado, Skipjack, and even some Bluefin. Captain Drew Card and Crew welcomed us aboard their beautiful vessel and quickly headed South where we engaged in some great action. We raffled off SFR T-Shirts and gear from our generous sponsors Seaguar and Owner Hooks. We put that gear to good use as we enjoyed laughs at the rail and worked closely to land the fighting fish.

A big congratulations are in order for Hardy Gunawan and the Crew of the Pacific Queen for landing an eighty-four pound Bluefin Tuna! Many of these fish have been hooked this season and have taken anglers for an unforgettable ride, however few of these fish have been landed because you have to be ready for them! The story is somewhat embedded within the pictures so I won't delve into the details, however I will say that this fish kicked some serious angler @$$! This was indeed a battle of epic proportions!

The season is far from over. As a matter of fact the conditions are continuing to improving daily. There's plenty of opportunities left, don't miss your chance to strike gold! Call up Fisherman's Landing at (619) 221-8500 and claim your spot before it's too late!

That's the word from the water, see you at the rail!
