Well, luckily fishing has started to pick up because the weather has not improved very much. After a very windy week and a Memorial Weekend with snow flurries, we are defiantly looking towards warmer weather to arrive.

This week we received a load of Alper's Trout on Tuesday with 250 pounds of Two to Three pounders and our weekly load of catchables from DFG of 900 pounds. Fishing has continued to improve as our water temperature continues to slowly warm up.

Rush Creek has been the most consistent over the past few weeks, kicking out several nice size trout using worms and Salmon Peach Power Bait where Rush Creeks dumps into Grant Lake. This weeks big fish out of Rush Creek were, Kevin Cousins of Dove Canyon caught a nice 2lb 8 oz rainbow using worms, Waren Hlinka of Thousand Oaks caught a 1lb 8 oz using worms Brian Diederich of Simi valley had a beautiful 2lb. 11 oz. rainbow caught on a worm.

As far as lake fishing goes, it also had a very productive week kicking out some very nice one to three pound rainbows. Brian Kriezel of Venice had a great looking 3lb rainbow caught on Silver Lake using a Thomas Buoyant, George Arra of Thousand Oaks had a great 3lb 8 oz. Rainbow caught from the shore of Silver Lake using a Kastmaster. Also this week was two great fish caught by Scott Rogers of Rancho Palos Verdes, using Thomas Buoyant also. Scott caught a 3lb 5 oz, a 2lb 6 oz, a 3lb, and a 1lb 13 oz all on the shore of Silver Lake.
