Well Fishermen, I had to move south! The Smith River is low, low and crystal clear. I am fishing the Eel River now and we are 4 hours closer to you. The water is that creamy green that Steelheaders love. Yesterday we hooked 7 and landed 4, Today we hooked 6 and landed 3 all fish had to be released as the Eel River is a catch and release fishery. The weather is incredible and I plan to be here for another week.

Well this is the kind of report you hate to post. Yesterday we got skunked! We had 4 bites, hooked 2 but did not bring any to the boat. Our water is getting low and is almost gin clear.
