Nice change of pace today at Collins Lake

As I was paying for the launch this morning, I ran into another guide and he said the bite had been slow. Well he wasn't wrong, the first hour went by with one bite (got it at 25ft...weird). That threw me off, dropping 3 out of 4 rods down. Then I put the sideplaner board out and wham, #2 in the boat. Went back toplining with all 4, with 2 on the board and ended up with 7 and a bass.
The big one got away right at the net, but we did land the almost 7# (pictured).
