- Water Conditions:
Water flows have been at 28 CFS for lthe last week as of 11/26. This is close to minimum flow of 25 CFS.
Water temps have dropped! Late morning and afternoon fishing will be the best.
- Fishing Conditions and Hatches: Good
Cold mornings and warm days continue to be the order of the day and fishing is generally good.
Evenings may slow a little when it gets cold after the sun goes down. On warmer days there may still be a bite in the p.m.
Recommended Flies:
Dry Flies: Not much dry fly action but try fishing dry/droppers with the lower fall flow regime. Try adult caddis or hopper dries and caddis emergers, midges or small bwo mayfly patterns below.
Nymphs: Midges are a really important food source as we go from fall into winter. Keep changing your patterns to find what they want. A good selection of WD-40's #20-24 in black, grey and olive are essential. Zebra Midges, small baetis imitations, flashback emergers.
Streamers: White/ Grey Zonkers and Double Bunny streamers fished on the swing and dead drifted and pulled.Big and ugly is working.
