Flows remain excellent from Lake Tahoe through Reno. The river is fishing excellent right now. Air and water temperatures have really been cooperating lately and the fishing has as well. On the California side there has been reports of an evening Dun Hatch the last couple of hours. A size 16 light Ca hill has been working well for that. The October Caddis are hatching and a Burk's Bottom Roller in Orange Sherbet size 6 and 8 to imitate the Caddis Puppa. The best way to fish those is Czech style or with a big indicator and a BB split shot. The Nevada side has been wide open. The Brown Trout are really active and can be caught a number of ways. Nymphing with an October Caddis and a Baetis dropper under an indicator is working well. Streamer fishing in the mornings and evenings has been the best for the bigger fish. Try a Bandit Leach or a McCune's Sculpin pattern.

Flows are: Town of Truckee 157 CFS, Boca Bridge 495 CFS, Farad 531 CFS, Reno 379 CFS.
