The salmon action continues to be off the charts in ocean waters outside of the Golden Gate. Most of the local charter boats are pulling in full two-fish limits of quality salmon for their clients. After taking early limits of salmon they are heading into San Francisco Bay where they take some good numbers of striped bass and halibut off the flats and rock piles. The salmon are averaging 15 pounds in weight. Some of the hotspots include the Marin coastline, Muir Beach and Deep Reef and the W Bouy in 25 to 60 feet of water on the troll with anchovies.
