GENERAL CONDITIONS

Although we haven’t seen an abundance of fisherman in the last couple weeks, the fishing does seem to have picked up since our most recent plants. It’s still mostly trout being caught with a couple of catfish here and there in warmer weather.

TROUT

One of our regulars caught two 7 lb. trout, one on each end of Horseshoe Lake using Rainbow Runners. Another regular angler caught a 6 lb. and 7 lb. catfish (on trout bait) along fisherman’s row.

GENERAL CONDITIONS The weather this week here at Lake Del Valle has varied day to day. Some days are just beautiful with temperatures in the low to high 70s with little to no wind. We've also had days that were horrendous with temperatures ranging from the high 50s to mid-60s with winds up to 30 mph.
