The striper fishing at Castaic is fair right now.Striper boils have been spotty in the mornings. Most the boils are in the fish arm.The largemouth and smallmouth bass have been boiling in the mornings.Most largemouth have been caught on plastics in 15 to 30ft.Smallmouths are biting reaction baits and plastics in 10 to 30ft.The catfish bite has been slow.We received a trout plant last week.The trout were bigger than usual so they lasted a lot longer.A few nice swimbait stripers have been caught since the trout plant.
