Salmon are a hit and miss which is the typical bite for the fall season. One day they find a good school and load up and the next day maybe a fish per rod. As an option the rock cod and lingcod fishing is still providing quality 10 fish limits for private boats and party boats.
Note: The 69th Rio Vista Bass Derby and Festival takes place October 7-8-9, 2016. This is one of the oldest fishing tournaments in the U.S. The event offers loads of family fun. If you love fishing the Delta waterways this is the event you won’t want to miss. Information: Rio Vista Chamber of Commerce at (707) 374-2700.

TAKE TIME TO GO OUT AND ENJOY THE GREAT OUTDOORS. UNTIL NEXT TIDE STAY SAFE TO FISH ANOTHER DAY. BE SURE TO CHECK WEATHER CONDITIONS BEFORE HEADING OUT INTO THE BIG WATERS.
