Fishing has been good at Don Castro! With few fishermen this month, bright lures are attracting trout, and staff talked to multiple anglers that were taking home multiple fish.

The water is still muddy trout fishing has been slow.  Black Bass is picking up, biting with artificial baits/lures and on nightcrawlers everywhere on the lake.  Look for catfish at Channel Point, Loma Island or from a boat with nightcrawlers or chicken liver.
