I fished the first FPT event for the central region this weekend at Don Pedro with Josh Parris. Our day was a struggle with little fish and we failed to find any quality bites. We started upriver where we caught around 25 fish all in the 1 pound range. We threw jigs, rip baits, keitechs, shakey heads and flukes but could not find any quality bites. We headed out to the main lake around 12 and had the same fate. Most people who did good caught their fish in the morning on the main lake with reaction baits. Everybody who I talked to said there was nothing but little fish upriver. It was won with about 18lbs and 12lbs was in the money. Hope this helps, Nick Lynch
