Bass fishing has been on the upswing this week, as a decent reaction bite starts to develop. Rip baits, Arigs, small swimbaits, drop shot, and jigs, all took quality large mouth. Big fish of the week went 6lbs, caught by local angler Brad Sheperd on an undisclosed rip bait. Crappie have also started to perk up as well, as some decent catches were made trotting spinners, or spoons. Catfish action still seems to be stable around the swimming pool cove, and White Oak. All other species were M.I.A.
