Striper fishing in the Delta still remains steady for both the Sacramento and San Joaquin rivers. We are starting to see fish moving up into the upper areas like Hog and Beaver sloughs as well as Steamboat and Miner. As the water gets colder the spoon bite will get better which is what I found this week fishing around Prisoner Point on the San Joaquin river. Top water bite using pencil poppers around Big Break and Franks Tract on the out going tide and swim baits has been good.
