Virginia Lakes Fishing Report

Virginia Lakes - Bridgeport, CA (Mono County)

by Jim Reid

The Virginias are still hanging in there as well, most of the fish are in the 10 to 14 inch range with a few here and there getting over 3 pounds or so. Bait anglers are doing the best with mice tails and power bait, lure anglers are using kastmasters and thomas bouyants. Fly anglers are stripping streamers like matukas, simi seal leeches and mini leeches with soft hackle or zug bug droppers.
