Jigs, crank baits work at Clear Lake

Clear Lake - Clearlake, CA (Lake County)

Southern end is a good place to use jigs or crank baits in crawdad patterns. There are frog fish to be caught although the weeds are dying back. North end of the lake is improving a bit. Try bluegill patterned chatter baits. Stay away from the dark brown water in the north end. Find the lighter water. Catfish bite is solid, but few are trying. State Park, Henderson Point and Shag Rock are good spots. Clear Lake Outdoors (707) 262-5852
