Bridgeport fished pretty well this weekend, almost all of the anglers we spoke with caught fish, not always limits, but lots of nice fish from 1.5 to 9 pounds.

We had good reports on trolling, bait fishing from boats and shore as well as fly fishing. For flies it seemed that streamers were the best, mostly down near the dam. Trollers caught fish on dodgers and crawlers, needlefish, rapalas among other things and bait anglers did well with inflated crawlers, power bait and gulp eggs. The water over most of the lake was right around 50 degrees, and a bit warmer in the places where the depth was less than 10 feet.
