Good numbers of trout are swimming around the pond. Late winter and early spring are good months to fish this pond as there is less aquatic vegetation. The pond is also an excellent spot to see wildlife like otters, beavers, and even elk. This is pond is managed by Oregon State Parks as a youth-only fishing pond.
