The lake has been fishing really good for a month or so now. The fish are still spread around the lake and fish are being caught from Monument Rock to Anderson Bay. The nets area is very crowded. The South nets is very shallow and not fishing very well on clear calm days. On days when the wind blows into the beach the fish move in. Nymphing with large Midges and Bead Heads are working well. Woolybuggers and Beetles are also catching fish.

Run-off has started and the flows are starting to climb. It is still fish able in California but Nevada has gotten pretty high and off colored. The run-off season should be fairly short this spring due to lack of snow pack. Check the flows before you go on renoflyshop.com. Go to the links page and click on stream flows.
