Sacramento Perch Bite Has Turned On!
With 50+ fish days becoming the norm, now is the time to go!
Meet the Fish family. I've never met someone with a more fitting name for the line of work he's in. Had the pleasure of guiding CADFW Senior Environmental Biologist Max Fish and his wonderful family. He specializes in Sacramento Perch, with a program to promote and expand the only species of sunfish native to California. It was a great learning experience for me with great insight into how these fish operate. They kept some for dinner and released a bunch more. Happy kiddos, happy guide!
