Pyramid rose to 86 percent of capacity, and fishing has been fair. Water conditions remain dirty due to continued storms. Bass anglers reported a better grade of bass lately as females begin to move up for the spawn. Jigs, Ned rigs, and drop shot all worked for bites in 15 to 30 feet of water, but one angler reported doing well right up near shore along bluff walls while throwing the split shot rig with six-inch brown plastic worms. Striper fishing was tough last week, and several anglers reported catching plenty of catfish on their striper baits. Cut sardines, dip bait, and chicken liver all fooled good numbers of whisker fish.
