No recent reports from anglers fishing Galesville. Fish are likely seeking cooler water in deeper parts of the lake.

The reservoir is dropping and may drop more quickly as the summer progresses. Call 541-837-3302 for information on camping and boat launching conditions. Check out the Lake Level Gauge for more information. If the gauge is under 1,820 feet, the lake may be too low to launch a boat. Currently the ramp is usable, but the docks are out of the water. At the current rate of decline, the lake will boat ramp will likely be unusable in the next couple of weeks.

In Galesville Reservoir, all landlocked salmon are considered trout and are part of the five-per-day trout limit, with only one trout over 20 inches long allowed for harvest. If you catch any salmon in Galesville, please e-mail a picture to [email protected].
