Shore anglers are seeing fish come closer to shore now. The north end of the lake is starting to fish better than it has been. Some places in the north end to try are Spider Point, Windless Bay, and Pelican Point. Anglers fishing Popcorn Rock, Cattleguard, Blockhouse Beach, Wino Beach, and Indian Head Beach are also still seeing good success. Anglers stripping flies are fishing well with beetles and wolly buggers. Anglers can also try a Sexton Booby fly in chartreuse and white or black. Balance leeches in tui chub patterns will also do well. Please be mindful of COVID 19 restrictions if you are fishing or camping here.
