We have not had a recent report but it would be worth looking at. There are usually good insect hatches this time of year. Try mid-afternoon till dark for some action.
It has not rained in a while so the river should be clear. The magic flow is usually under 1000 cfs for really wide open fishing at this time of year but that seldom happens.
As soon as we get a report we will put it here.
This is the time of year we get some large stoneflies flapping around in the warm afternoons and some large #10 mayflies hatching too. Caddis should be popping in the afternoons too.
Maybe you could get up there and be the one in the next report?

We are getting reports of Spring-run Halfpounder Steelhead being caught in the Sailor Bar area. There are small Steelhead in there 12 to 18 inches and larger eating caddis and salmon fry. This is usually good March, April and May if we don't get any more big storms.
