Once we thought that all the King Salmon had already went up river and new batch of them has showed up, Fishing was real good this morning on the Chetco River. We hooked 4 and landed 3 and saw a pretty good amout of fish rolling in several different spots. Here is Ken and Derek Hoffman of the Bay Area with a pair of nice Kings

Merry Christmas Fishermen! Well what a blast of rain we have had. Today is the first day in almost 2 weeks the river has been below 20 ft. The water is green and there are fish in the river. River is up 7 Feet!

Thank you Rain Gods! Well it finally happened, we got some real rain. The river came up over 7 ft yesterday. Today she is a beautiful brown color with lots of leaves. It is hard to tell what is going to happen the next few days as we have substantial rain forecast Sunday through Wednesday.
