The flows jumped to almost 9oo cfs on Tuesday due to rain and snow. they are starting to come down but it could be a few days to a week before the Truckee is fishable again. Before the latest storm the fishing was getting really good. Nymphing with Skwala stones and a Baetis dropper had been working well. Look for this pattern to again be working when the flows get back down into the 400\'s.

The fishing at Pyramid has been really good. There still are some slow days out there but for the most part we are having a great spring season. Reports are coming in daily of fish in the 8 to 15 pound range. The water is holding steady around 48 degrees. Storms are expected in the area over the next week so the water temperature probably will not change much. Stripping Wooly worms with a tadpole dropper has been working......
