If you are fishing on Rock Creek, dry flies are the way to go

Water Conditions: The water is clear and the flows are at 31cfs as of 7/17.

Fishing Conditions and Hatches: Its all about the dry flies. A nymph rig might be a little challenging with low flows. A dry/dropper is a perferred technique for nymphing.

Recommended Flies:

DRIES:
parachute adams, extended body bwo, hatch matcher, stimulator, rubber leg stimulators, chernobyl, light cahill, sierra brite dot, elk hair caddis, yellow sally, mini hot garcia's

NYMPHS: wd40, variety of midges, black beauty miracle nymph, mighty may sloan, copper johns, prince nymphs, micro mays, micro stones, tungsten psycho, s&m nymphs

STREAMERS: Goat Leech, Crystal Bugger, matuka, marabou leech, doc twin specials, bh carey bugger, hornbergs, belly ache minnow, double bunny, jawbreakers
