Fishing conditions and Hatches: Excellent. No more boats so its shore or float tubing 'til the 15th. There are some really big fish at Alligator and along Six Bays. For Alligator they are in a stripe at about 15 to 17 feet of depth extending from the point north for a hundred yards or so. Hang midges and leeches under the indicator or strip the latter very slowly like a twitch every 5 seconds with full sink line as it sinks then when it gets to the bottom, recast and twitch it down again. Ditto for Six Bays but you have to shop for the spot where they are cruising each day from Green Banks Bay to almost Sandy everywhere where it drops off quickly. For tubers don't get in the "lane" stay away from shore and cast towards shore. Or, get out and walk if you are bobber fishing. Prime time is late am and in the afternoon after 3 pm.

Recommended Flies: Red/Black or Black Optimidges, Big Bird's Nest and Leech patterns with marabou tails for nice action if under the indicator. The leeches are working the best in purple or wine color.
