The West is fishing really well, the water is low so search out those deeper pools that are holding fish and throw some spinners or leech pattern flies in there after them. The Pickle Meadows area and in the canyon along hwy 395 up near the town of Walker have both been doing well. You can also fish eggs and crawlers and have some success.
