The lake is slowly increasing and is currently at 42,476 acre-feet which is 7 percent capacity. The cold weather storms have slowed things down here. The bass fishing has been slower the last couple weeks. The water is cold, and the bass have moved into their winter pattern. Crappie have been showing, but the overall crappie bite has been slow. They’ve been holding in deep water structure and have been going for minijigs and live medium minnows. The catfish bite has been fair to good on frozen shad, dip baits and live minnows.
