The reservoir is frozen with 8–9 inches of ice. The roads are covered with snow, and you'll need four-wheel drive to reach the reservoir. Recent reports indicate fast fishing for 10- to 12-inch rainbow and brook trout with the occasional fish up to 17 inches. Small tungsten jigs, tubes and jigging spoons in chartreuse — tipped with half a mealworm or a Gulp maggot — worked best. Target these fish in 10–12 feet of water.
