Anglers reported fair fishing at BV last week, and we have been hoping for another trout plant. We will report the next stocking as soon as we hear something. Anglers used dough baits, Mouse tails, minijigs, and lures to catch the holdover rainbows and lightening trout still cruising the lake. Boat anglers trolled wedding rings and Roostertails to fool some decent trout further from the bank. Bass anglers used drop shot, Senkos, and creature baits near the islands and reeds. Spinnerbaits have been another good option lately. Catfish anglers used chicken liver, dip bait and cut baits to fool whiskerfish, and bluegill ate redworms, mealworms, and waxworms.
