The weeds along the shore lines are still thick and the water clarity is not the best. Lake level is around 59% launching boats is still possible at both ramps. Live worms and hard plastic diving flicker shad made by Berkley were the most common bait and lures scoring fish this past week. A 9 pound Catfish was caught way in the back using mackerel. Best bass we hear of was a 4 pounder in the back of Blinn Bay using a nightcrawler. A few small bluegill caught off the docks around the lake. I don’t think I heard of one court being caught this week. Did not hear about much luck with top water rigs either.
