The Sawmill Pond Kids Derby is still on for June 5th from 8am to 12 pm. This event is sponsored and supported by Raleys, The  Optimist Club of South Lake Tahoe, Tahoe Fly Fishing Outfitters, Francine Tanner and the Eldorado Fish Commision. The derby is open to all anglers 14 years of age and younger. No pre-registration is needed. All you need to do is show up and enjoy yourself. Only thing that is asked is to keep chairs and coolers back from the shore area to allow more access for anglers. There will be hot dogs and a raffle.
