Pyramid Lake is now open. Permits are only available online or at the kiosks at the ranger station. They are $24 per day.

The best fishing currently is Popcorn Rock, Cattleguard, Pelican Point, Warrior Point and other areas on the west side of the Lake. Anglers are using a bobber with chironomids and beetles. Fish a purple or black pyramid beetle on bottom and a chironomid on top. The fish are cruising the shoreline so you don’t need a boat to get a big catch. Fishing on the rougher days is better than the clear days at Pyramid Lake. Please be mindful of COVID 19 restrictions if you are fishing or camping here.
