Crappie are marking near 40 feet I hear, not too many being caught. It’s catfish season around here, they are eating anything real from worms to cut baits. Bass are hiding in a deep dark coroner somewhere. The bass bite has slowed greatly. Chatter baits in the shady spots landed a decent 4 pounder, best we have heard all week. Bluegill are hitting like cause if the weather isn’t too blistering hot.
