FEATHER RIVER

River opened Saturday, April 4th from A-23 bridge to the Mohawk Bridge. Running a little high but water clarity is decent. Browns enter the system this time of year.

LAKE DAVIS

Lake is wide open. Recent storms have put snow around the edges East side road is stopped at Mallard Cove. The west side is unplowed. Fly fisherman doing well at Grasshopper Cove with copper john under indicator.

FRENCHMAN RESERVOIR

Lake is almost totally open water. Able to drive to end of lake. Fly fishing at the top end of lake with leech and zebra midges with sinking line producing fish. Shore fishing by Main boat ramp producing fish up to 20”.

LAKES BASIN

Road is closed at staging area. Do not attempt to drive thru. All lakes access by snowmobile only.
