With the surprisingly cool nights and about of wind we have been receiving for the past few days the fish are very tricky to fin. I have heard just about everything being thrown at them with close to no bites. Early int eh week pimple were catching a few decent sixes bass with large worms. And then that come to a stand still. I have talked with German trying to export new depths. As well as different spots to see what they can find. Hopefully the new water temperature brings out the crappie aging but haven’t heard so far. Ever the easier pan fish must be hiding. Catfish are nibbling but not taking off with much of anything. The only successor I spoke with found some redear by the dam.

Plastic worms seem to be the key to 4 to 6 inches long with just a hook no weight close to the weed line at the bank. Some Carolina rigged swim baits with sparkly flecks inside have got bass 3 or more pounds. ...... Read More
