FEATHER RIVER

River levels are dropping bringing warmer water. Fishing thru rapids and top of pools best bet. Bouncing crawlers and stoneflies thru riffles best bait.

LAKE DAVIS

Grass in the water becoming issue for both trollers and bank fisherman. Bankers must cast as far out as possible for best results. Trolling dam area 25-30ft needlefish wedding ring and crawler.

FRENCHMAN RESERVOIR

Trolling main body 45ft down in 60-65ft water producing fish in the 3-5 l b range.

LAKES BASIN

Road is open.

GOLD LAKE

Summer slows. Early morning best opportunity for fish. Trolling by 4x4 area along west end catching rainbows. Macs and Browns going deep best bet.

SNAG LAKE

Fishing good. Left side of Day use area best bet.

SALMON LAKE

Late afternoon early evening best time. Tossing lures around dock area doing well.

PACKARD LAKE

No Report.

SARDINE LAKE

Slowing down. Boat rentals best bet.
