The river is low but flowing perfect for fishing. Alpine County has scheduled a plant of 900 lbs of 12" to a few pound rainbows this week. Salmon eggs or Powerbait has been very productive from Hope Valley to Woodfords area. Small silver spinners are also productive in the faster moving areas.
