Bridgeport is still kicking out a bunch of nice fish in the 2 to 5 pound range, both trolling and bait fishing. The shore fishing is pretty tough but the anglers getting out on the water in boats are doing well. Out in front of the marina is a good area as well as Rainbow Point and some fish are being caught up in Buckeye Bay. Bait anglers are using powerbait, inflated crawlers, mice tails and pinched crawlers while trolling has been good with Rapalas, Thomas bouyants, needlefish and night crawlers. We haven’t had much news from any fly anglers fishing the Reservoir lately but there should be some streamer action and possible some stillwater nymphing up in the channels by now.
