Fishing is steady right now. Bass are all over the lake, although small, we look forward to a lot of action in the future. Some decent size are being hooked but no record at this time. Pan fish are still being brought in with bluegill being the most caught lately Shallow water seems to be the hot spot for all species lately.

On 7/26/18 Al Hurwitz of Saratoga and Abbey Lev of Sunnyvale fished the lake looking for Bass. We hooked up with 11 Smallmouth Bass as well as 6 Striped Bass trolling both Panther Martin Spinners and small jointed Rapala-like minnows. Bass tournament was July 24th (night) netted 7Ib plus as the winner. Tournament goers are not noted for giving their secrets out so that will be a mystery for now. Other fishermen have been doing well with the typical crank and swim baits as well as artificial worms.
