As the water temps increase, one would think that the blue/black marlin would be in full swing, but only a couple have been caught, so far and it appears to be the "luck of the draw", so to speak. The overall counts for a combined total of 32 fishing days with the Gaviota Sportfishing Fleet & Fish Cabo Fleet reflected 13 stripers, (11 released) 11 dorado, 1 wahoo and 4 yellowfin tuna. High boat for the week was the "Tuna Time", with two stripers released for a single fishing day.

Cabo Climate: Warming up as it moves into summer, temps from 74 nights to 97 daytime highs, with partly cloudy days.

Sea Conditions: Warm & stable water from the Golden Gate to the Gorda Banks, ranging from 81 to 83 degrees.

Best Fishing Area: Around the 95 Fathom Spot, about 10 miles southeast of Cabo for billfish.

Best Lure/Bait: Not reported

Live Bait Supply: Good, mostly caballitos.
