Santa Margarita Lake Fishing Report

Santa Margarita Lake - CA (San Luis Obispo County)

Fishing and catching has been good this last week. Bass up to 10 lbs were hooked. Pan fish are a little scarce since last week but anglers did bring in crappie mixed with bluegill and redear. Coves have been productive for these, as well as catfish.

Fishing right now is doing well. A lot of baby bass swimming around the lake. Bass biting on standard baits crank and swim along with worms. They are hanging in deeper water.
